The launcher tube with two layers of 3" tape. This is a little bit more structure than necessary, but I figure that it's a good idea to have the strength there as the tube turns aft.
This is the repair to the damage on the rail of the launcher tube. It has just one layer of glass over it.
The repair to the bow. It has two layers of glass over it and should feather in nicely.
When I do fiberglass work I normally pre-preg and then squeegie out the excess after application. The only place this can be a little tricky is in tighter areas, as it's a little harder to get the squeegie everywhere you want it.
