Sanding in here is perhaps the biggest PITA I have ever done. Finally, I purchased the sanding attachment to a Dremel tool and set to work. The tube as it runs from the opening at the bow back to the bulkhead is only a single layer of kevlar thick, so you have to be careful while sanding.
